how to make a model mount with legos difficulty 5/10 because of sharp objects so as a little kid you might of had a army surplus of legos but what can you use them for now? The answer...Body mounts! This just covers the front and most tricky mount. So first gather your supplies ![]() so if your supplies are gathered lets go! step 1 take your tall 4x1 lego and your razor and trim those pegs out like so ![]() step 3 take your short 4x1 and sand those pegs off of the top like so ![]() then assemble the parts. step 4 glue the two together ![]() like so step 5 get a short 1x1 i forgot to mention and fit it together like so ![]() but dont glue it just yet... size it to fit on your front clip ![]() step 6 does it fit snugly? Yes! excelent now glue it on in that exact position. almost done friends step 7 glue it to your front bumper but do it off center so the open area is in the center like so ![]() step 8 let it dry step9 once totaly dry mount it ![]() step 10 this is the most important step this will affect your xmods forever... are you ready are you HAVE FUN thanks for taking the time to read my tutorial i hope it helps you as much as it helped me. mr.hotrod note you cant use 3x1 blocks because they are loose as well but too tight to adjust. It could use a bit of clarifying, and maybe a single shot with all the materials instead of separate pictures of each bit. Also I'd suggest just using 1x3 beams and plates rather than having it sit off to the side like that.
My only question is how it comes off... is it glued to the stock front clip or are the two legos glued together? ![]()

some parts could use more clarification and details on how to do it, and we dont need a pic of all the supplies individually when you have a pic of all of them together, and dont double post, i'm sure you've been here long enough to know that by now

its a lego, how well do you think it will hold up on impact? i would say not well at all, i can just see running over a crack in the driveway and the body goes rolling away.
